Kishore Gundala
My creative journey began with theatre in India, acting in stage plays, skits, and radio dramas, where I learned the fundamentals of performance, timing, and emotional truth. I later trained in filmmaking at the Northwest Film Center in Portland, Oregon, working across the full filmmaking process and directing two short films, The Final Dream and The Ticket. I’ve also acted in Karma, Do You Believe?, a full-length feature, which continues to shape how I approach storytelling from an actor’s point of view.
In parallel, I’ve spent over three decades in global corporate leadership, building and scaling technology practices across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and India. That experience deeply influences how I make films: with structure, financial discipline, and respect for execution. Over the years, I’ve been a partner at Respect Creations and Vivify Media Film Factory, actively involved in every aspect of filmmaking: story development, production, casting, post-production, marketing, and the business of cinema. I also led the marketing and positioning for 24 Kisses, a campaign widely appreciated for its freshness and clarity. Today, through Triskelion Studios, I work across both the creative and commercial sides of cinema while mentoring new storytellers and building platforms for meaningful, story-first filmmaking.
